How many students do we have in the area?
SECONDARY SCHOOL: 450 students (grade 7-12, Colegio Cóbano 422 students, Sta. Teresa 28 students (Private school and Telecolegio)
PRIMARY SCHOOL: 1023 students (grade 1-6, 953 primary students in 22 public schools, 70 private school students.
The numbers show that even without considering additional students moving to the area, there will be demand for another secondary school. In the next six years, more than 1,000 students will be ready to attend a high school in the area.

The variety of students from all villages as well as from many different cultures, all together at one school will create extraordinary dynamics and a wider consciousness concerning social aspects and handling of social affairs.
Bringing them together in the center of the region will also create a shared interest to take care for the area they live in. The coming generation on the tip of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula has the chance to integrate many aspects of different cultures, a melting pot of three worlds: Latin America, Northern America and Europe.?
