close to the Wildlive Reserve Curu, has a large dark sanded bay with calm waters. It is an ideal spot for windsurfing and has great golf courses, a marina and world class hotels and resorts.
Cheaper accomodations can be found too and some restaurants with international or tipical local cuisine.
In the backland of Tambor you´ll find Pánica, which is a nice laid back village on a big river. Here the tourist can make a nice comfy farm vacation with trips to the beach on a horseback.
Lately Pánica has become a spot where a lot of building takes place.
