Estamos en la etapa final de reuniones con los jefes de la Policía Turística, un proyecto muy interesante del Ministerio de Seguridad, para permitir a este cuerpo especializado en atender problemas de criminalidad asociada al turismo de estar presente en Montezuma, Malpaís y Santa Teresa a muy corto plazo.

The "green" season from May to November is one of the best times to visit the Nicoya peninsula, although the rains can be very heavy in October. In mid-November, the trade winds from the northeast, known as the Papagayo, arrive to signal the end of the "winter". Many flowers are in bloom and in the green season the jungle is at it's most lush and vibrant green from May onwards. In the "green" season there are also fewer crowds, lower rates for accomodation, and cooler temperatures than in high season. The beaches are as interesting as always, but with more driftwood as the rains wash interesting rocks, pebbles, trees and branches down the rivers for the beachcombers.

Observing the moon and its cycles is a tradition as old as man himself. In gardening, the moon cycles are very significant. They strongly affect the flowering & fruiting of trees & plants. The moon has a strong pull on everything liquid on the planet. Since plants also have a circulatory system (sap) they too experience ´tides´ or biorythms.

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a woody, perennial herb with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves carrying short, dense wooly hairs. It is native to the Mediterranean region in Europe, and is a member of the mint family Lamiaceae, which contains many other herbs.
